This mushroom recently popped up unwarranted in one of my ivy pots. Its kind of neat and I wouldn't mind keeping it, but I'm concerned it could be poisonous or harmful to me, my cat, or the plant. Any information regarding the nature of this thing would he awesome! Thanks in advance!

To me, it looks like a "Panaeolus semiovatus" family.
