Containers?

Hi!
I have planted some transplants indoors. Now the baby plants have gotten to big for the small space they are in now. Does anyone know a cheap container to grow the plants in till they get big enough to transplant to the garden? I'm all about saving money and I was wondering if Solo plastic cups with holes punched in the bottem for drainage or if even metal cans that beans come in would work if they had holes drilled in the bottom for drainage?

Thanks tell me what you think? or any Ideas?

Sorry I'm new at all this its my first garden :D

Thanks Mark

I assume you ARE talking about smaller containers for seedlings and transplants. I started a thread discussion about recycled containers here: https://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22433
