Young orchids..Need some advice please!

I recently got these two orchids while on vacation and they came just like my picture shows, unpotted. https://www.flickr.com/photos/17398687@N02/4251467073/

I am a bit unsure as to how I should go about planting them. I have the orchid bark mix, But what kind of pot should I use? The roots of the orchid on the left are so shallow and some roots are looking like they have started to rot. And I am unsure about what the "nest-like" material is surrounding the orchid on the right. Any advice or suggestions about potting these plant would be greatly appreciated.

You definately need an orchid pot if grown indoors. They have holes in the side to allow air flow into the soil, which is why you use a heavily bark laden soil to allow air flow and proper drainage. They need to be put in a pot imediately. We has a sort of Orchid "expert" here who grows a ton, I'll let him get into specifics, but you definately need to get it potted as soon as possible.
