Update!! It lives... sorta.

Its an update on my Marigold. I didn't make the big cut hopping that it would heal over. it looks like it has. None of the blooms are dying, in fact they are starting to bloom more. Should I keep it as it is, or should I make the big cut?

also what should I do with the flowers if I want to cut them?

Hey little bear!

Ah yes, the tree form marigold :lol: . I'd go with it at this point; prune the bottom back to the trunk and pretend you meant to do it all along... :lol: Just cut flowers back near the branch, head back the leaders to keep a little ball shape on top and you have a topiary marigold! Sweet!
