my hibiscus has spots on leaves

Hi,
I bought a healthy flowering hibiscus plant last month. It was kept inside the shop (around 70-75F temperature) so even I kept it inside near window which gets late evening sun. The plant had many buds when I bought it and 2 of the flowers managed to bloom but since then (after 10-15 days of getting the plant home) all the buds are turning yellow and falling off..the plant still has 4-5 small buds but like others I fear they will also grow bigger and turn yellow & fall off before blooming. Lately I have also seen some yellow & brown spots on the new leaves... older leaf has some white marks as well.
I am in zone 9, the plant stays in patio and not in direct sun. the present day temperature is in 90's, night temperature is in 50's - earlier I used to get it inside at night but stopped it since yesterday. I am not over watering- I water only when the soil feels dry. It is not root bound..I repotted a few days back. I checked for insects inside the bud but found none.

Please help.....

It might be a sunburn.

If you have kept it indoors and then moved it outdoors into direct sun, the leaves can burn.

Gradually give the plant more sunlight by placing it in filter sun.

Here's an informative link I found... :D

In the upper left side of the site are links to basic information. Enjoy!

thanks, the site is very helpful. Unfortunately I trimmed off the top part of my little hibiscus thinking it to be some virus infection :-( I never kept my plant in sun, not even filtered sun but yes the daytime temperature were in late 90 degrees. Oh yes.... it did stay in a window for 15 days which got evening sunlight for 1 hour maybe that gave it sunburns.
