New here..m i late for container gardening(North california)

hi!
i am new to this forum and i dream of having a lovely container garden in my small patio some day.
I was wondering if i am late for gardening this year.. we have recently moved to north california. Also if you could suggest me some vegetables/herbs which grow well here.
My patio gets direct sun from 2:00 pm till 7-8 p.m ... around 5 hrs evening sun.

thanks!

If you really want to grow some veggies you can find mature plants at a store near you. It is late in the season, but not too late for some things.
When you find a store that sells plants or better, a nursery, whatever they have to sell at this point in time you can buy and grow. Read the vegetables forum to see what others are now planning to plant.
Many plant in pots and gardens.
Gardens are a little bit of heaven on earth.
