Eradication of Horsetail

Hello all,

Have the dreaded Horsetail in part of our Garden. Can anyone recommend a product, or give any helpful advice for removing this nuisance of a plant/weed.

Horsetail can be difficult. For now, you might have to control it by digging it out, and then try solarization in the fall.

Thanks but what does solarization mean??

Basically, soil solarization is covering an area with black plastic. The sun heats it to a high temperature, which kills weeds.
