Spearmint Sprouts!

My spearmint seeds have sprouted

I'm going on a trip for a week and leaving my friend to water the garden. I don't want them to drown so I was thinking about making a frame and covering it with plastic wrap to keep the rain off. Any tips as to what I should do?

Are those in a container? If so, yes, covering them with clear plastic should help keep them moist while you're away?

Yeah they're in a pot. I'll transplant them when I get back then. Thanks for the verification. Can't figure out how to show the picture, haha.

It's already been "figured out": please see

https://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3724

where our webmaster has provided step-by-step guidelines to post photos here at The Helpful Gardener. (There are also other helpful guidelines in the same sub-forum.) :)

Best wishes for your trip.

I'm back from the trip and was excited to see my whole garden survived. My sweet 100 tomato plant has little tomatoes. My sunflowers are taller than me. My jalepeno has babies. My greek oregano is fuller. And best of all, I still have living spearmint sprouts. Theres a HUGE cicada in my rain barrell. Thanks for the link

I'm happy to hear that all is well with your garden. I hope you had a really great vacation ... and didn't worry too much about your plants! :)

Well anyways, if anyone is interested in the progress, here they are. Maybe 1cm tall from seeds.
