brandywine tomato in 5 gal pot

just wondering someone gave me a brandywine that was already 16" tall started from seed but my garden is full already. I want to try the 5 gal bucket thing. Any suggestions? I'm going to buy miralce grow potting soil.

Well, I have 4 brandywine tomato plants in my garden and one in a 5 gal pot (for comparision!). All of them are doing FAB FAB FAB! The one in the pot is maybe slightly smaller, but not much. They're all covered in buds. So from that I would say go for it. If you don't have any garden space what else can you do!?
