My first ever Bromelaid bloomed today.

here is a sunday morning suprise here .. First time owner, $2.00 at Lowes last fall.Did I make a mistake????

Any advice on raising these??????????

That's gorgeous! You got a bargain!

I had a great place for plants in my old house, and had one of these. Someone told me they should be watered in the top little funnel. Other than that, doesn't look like you need advice on care--whatever you're doing is obviously working!

It was settin in a corner half behind a door and I was shocked to see 2 blooms.........Another one is coming in the back part..

All I read is pour the water in the hole in top.
