Planting a hydroponic in soil?

Hello all --

I've got a question about my houseplants (I think there should be a Houseplants forum). I've rooted a few clippings in water (peperomia, philodendrun, and pothos), and they each now have moderate to decent roots. The peperomia roots are each about a centimeter long, but there are about 8 on each clipping. The pothos and philodendrun roots are about 1"-2" long and there are only 2 or 3 on each clipping. I can take pictures if you need. I'm wondering if it's safe to plant them in soil, or if that would not be recommended. Should I just keep them as hydroponics and grow them to a full plant that way? If I do plant them in soil, what kind of soil would be recommended and what method should I use?

thanks for the help!

I sometimes root starts in water and then just plant them in potting mix. It seems to work just fine. :)
