Hair-like Fungus popping up?

I mixed some organic fertilizer and potting soil together to start some seedlings and I am seeing these random hair-like things pop-up in some of my starters here and there. Roughly an inch long, thin as hair with a tiny ball at the top. Not many - just one or two per in^2. I've been removing them all as they pop-up and spraying with Chamomile tea to minimize damping off. Is there something else I can put down to minimize this hair-like fungus stuff?

I just recently found out on this forum that cinnamon works well against fungus. I just sprinkled it on the soil that my seedlings are in. Be careful though, it did seem to burn some of the leaves that got sprinkled with it.

Crazy - yesterday I read the same and dusted my tray with it. These have all but stopped popping up. I used a small paintbrush to dust the seedling foilage that it did get on. Think I might do this out of habit when potting up new seed starters. Ground cinnamon is pretty cheap from the bulk isle.

Thanks for the reply.
