What are these things on my cherry tree? (Pic)

I'm curious about the two yellowish "bumps" on the stem of each leaf. Whatever they are, the honeybees seem to love them!

Can anyone tell me what they are?

ETA: The pic isn't the greatest. When I look at them on the tree, it's clear that, whatever they are, they're part of the tree itself. I just wondered what their function might be, and perhaps, why the bees are so attracted to them.

It's prolly where the pollinatino occurs like in a flower or stem of a veggie plant
