Organic fertilizers work great. Manure is a good all round fertilzer, Just work it in around the plants. Add some compost as well.
Kelp meal won't hurt either.
Don't use synthetic fertilizers because they break down soil structure, kill beneficial organisms and don't replace lost nutrients in the soil. Furthermore with synthetic fertilizers you can burn your plants.

Unless you are absolutely certain of its provenance using manure as fertilizer for a crop like strawberries is high-risk strategy. Since strawberries are not cooked and are grown at or near ground level where bacteria can easily splash up the risk of bacterial contamination is fairly high. Manure has also been demonstrated to carry antibiotic residues: https://www.soils.org/press/releases/2007/1126/001/

Thanks for the heads up Maine,
this brings to mind the fact that we gardeners should be careful about where we acquire our products from Of course, when possible it is best to use certified organic soil ammendments that do not contain synthetic chemicals.
If we use this method, we don't have to worry about any residues ans simply washing our food wil suffice to clean them.
