Bugs on Rasberries

Hi, I'm new to Helpful Gardener, not sure if this has been covered before. My Rasberries are covered with small flying insects, can anyone identify and recommend a control?

Hi Battyg

They look like fruit flies....Drosophilla .
They will lay their eggs in the fruitlets and these hatch into tiny grubs(worms) that will eat your fruit away.
A few things help control them
Keep the ripe berries picked.
Get as much air as possible around your canes by tying wanted ones and cutting out unwanted.
You can make traps with vinegar in jars but this will not control heavy infestations,
If there are huge amounts then spraying with a safe pesticide may be needed.
