Peaches - white spots

Hi there,

My peaches seem to be forming nicely but some have white spots on them. Apparently the tree had trouble with fungus before we moved in (west coast Canada is prone to this problem I think? ). Could it be fungus again? I also see many tiny ants along the trunk. Any suggestions for pest control or tree health maintenance are much appreciated!

First thing I thought was a fungus. Ants always show up when there is trouble. I am not sure how to treat this, but I hope somebody will help you here.

Hi apollen,
It's probably the first signs of mildew.
Check your garden centre for sprays ...sulphur etc. Get on top of it quickly as most sprays protect against mildew rather than kill established infections.
