Water requirements for young, newly transplanted citrus tree

I know that you typically give citrus trees one deep water once a week, but when a young tree has just been transplanted, do you water more or the same? Thanks for any help.

Citrus trees like slightly acidic rich well drained loams. I would water the tree more often until it is established. Mine are mainly in pots so they need to be watered more.
