Watermelon transplanting
Guys... I have a sugar baby watermelon germinated I do think know when to transplant it..
You don't indicate where you are, so it is a little difficult to be of much help. You seedling is just getting started so it will be while before you need to worry about transplanting outside. If you mean repotting, it would still be a while. I tend not to repot vine plants other than tomatoes. In my area watermelons are directly seeded to the soil when soil temperatures are high enough so not to stunt or kill the tender plants.
Your outdoor soil temperatures need to be well into the 80s F to insure watermelon growth. Also the days to maturity is a factor. In my area days to maturity needs to be under 100 days to get fruit. Count from the germination date forward to see if you have enough time. Sugar Babys have a shorter growing time than some others. More information would be helpful.
