Hi,
Really want to plant a black current vine or kiwi vine over my wooden fence. Do these do well over the winter. My winter temp. is -7°c max.

are you saying it only gets up to -7C, or that that's as low as it goes? either way, black currant is very hardy, down to zone 3 or so. fuzzy kiwi is relatively tough, and can handle down to zone 7 reliably...hardy kiwi is, like the name suggests, able to take much lower temps.

Be aware though that Blackcurrents flower very early in the spring. So if you suffer from early spring frosts they may need some protection with fleece or similar on those cold spring nights.
