Possible to Grow Indoor Apartment Strawberries?

Hello!

I recently started getting interested apartment gardening. As of right now, I have a bunch of houseplants, but nothing that yields a crop. I've been trying to think of what fruit or vegetable would be easiest to grow with limited space and lack of direct sunlight, and for some reason, strawberries came to mind.

So, I was wondering if anyone with more experience had any input on whether or not this is a terrible idea. While I can't get any direct sunlight, the amount of indirect sunlight I get through my window is substantial and strong throughout the day, so maybe that's something.

Also if anyone is familiar with different varieties of strawberry, maybe someone could recommend a variety better-suited for low-light conditions.

Thanks!!
