Hi,
I have a dragon fruit plant that is starting to grow some strange white stringy things from the plant itself. I have attached a picture of it to this message. I have been pulling them off, yet, a few days later, there are more!
Can anyone please identify what it is???

I'm from north san diego county, california. It has been very humid lately. I've also been spraying my dragon fruit plant with water a few times a week. So what your saying makes sense ! It's a new plant I started from a clipping a couple weeks ago so I thought foliar feeding the plant with water would help it take root quicker....
