Hello, I live in Norfolk Va. I planted two peach trees two years ago.The tree limbs have grown at least six ft last year and another 5 to 6 ft this year, all this wild growth and few peaches. Help please
Peaches are crazy growers and need to be pruned severely every year or two. Counterintuitive but it must be done. There are several on-line peach pruning sites. Pruning needs to be done in early spring before the sap begins to flow. The trees live longer and produce more by being pruned hard.
