Help me train my young lemon graft

Hello guys, I grafted my lemon tree on 25/4/2015 and the graft is growing unflappably :D. It has reached up to a meter in less than 3 months and I am thinking to cut its top a little but so it will take out new growth from the buds around it. Is this a good idea or to leave it as it is? see the picture.

Generally, most people let a first year graft grow uninhibited for the first year. Then it is pruned before the beginning of the first season.
