Calamondin sunburn!

I live in the uk and I got a calamondin about 3 months ago I put it outside just over a week ago and it got sunburnt (white leaves some have brown patches) I don't know what to do now it's only got a quarter of it leaves normal still I've put it in a spot that only gets the weaker morning sun the shade but isn't helping.

Do I put it back inside or give up with it? Bit disappointed as it looked nice and healthy inside. It's not a mature calamine in it's still little. Not sure how old.

If it's just sunburn it WILL recover. Just baby it a bit as far as sun introduction as you've started doing, & have patience. It could take a month or more for new leaves to appear, but if sunburn was/is the only problem, they will appear.
