How tall do jackfruit trees get?

How tall do they have to get before they produce full size fruit?

Jackfruit trees can get up to 40 ft but most people I know who have them prune them to keep them shorter. It can start producing fruit at 3-4 years old. It is a fairly big tree for a yard.

It should start fruiting at about 8 feet tall. You can probably prune your tree to keep it between 8-12 feet tall.

Jackfruit can get up to 100 lbs and can rake a year to mature on some varieties. This is the fruit they based the juicy fruit gum flavor on. I learned about all this by going to the Redland's Fruit and Spice Park in Homestead, Fl. Unbelievable place to visit if you ever get down this way. :D
