I've got 4 apple trees, 2 peaches, 2 pears, and three cherry trees that I did not prune when I planted them last march. I'm thinking about pruning them right now, but the weather is only getting colder and I don't want to set these trees up to die over the winter.
This last weekend I planted another 8 apple trees and I'm wondering if I should be pruning them as well even though they haven't had time to get their roots established.
I'm sorry if this seems like a redundant question, but I've looked on the internet and it seems like I can find plenty of sources saying to prune or not prune and that the other opinion is wrong. I appreciate any help.

Not sure if this needed to be asked in a separate thread when you already received an answer here?
