Blue berries for the north/central California valley?

any suggestions on what variety might produce/thrive in my area (Sacramento).

Full sun, morning, afternoon? It seems like it'd bee too hot here, but every year the nurseries offer 4 - 6 varieties.... I haven't found anyone locally claiming success

I'd like to have these in my garden, but may opt for boysenberries which I know will do well in my area

Thanks

If I was to guess, its how well can you acidify your soil? You may also want to look at amelancher or haskap. Those latter two being blue fruited shrubs that aren't as needy of acid soil.

acidifying the soil shouldn't be a problem

The Haskap sounds intriguing... but not sure where to acquire seedling/plants, but not having much luck finding a source (unless I want 1000 plants...)

Thanks for the suggestion!
