Why are my strawberries blooming in mid winter?

I found that my strawberry plants are all blooming. I'ts mid Winter & I did cover them with mulch.

Will there be a problem when they are suppose to bloom in spring? Will they bloom in spring as well?

Any advice?

I assume you are in the Southern Hemisphere ?

If so you likely have a day neutral or ever bearing variety. They can theoretically produce all year. Should be no harm to them but if your really worried you can pick the flowers off. That won't hurt the plant at all.
