how to have scion that 's dormant for grafting an apple tree

Cut them dormant. Wrap in a damp towel and keep 'em in the fridge.

after cut dormant,the scion (wraped in damp towel ) and keep in the fridge for how long before grafting

cut dormant wood in winter - here it'd be january or february...use for bench grafting (inside on small rootstocks) in feb/march or use for topworking in situ when buds are swelling in march/april.
