I'm worried about my lemon tree. A few weeks ago there was a frost and it hurt my tree. It now a yellow green and some of the stems are a blackish color. Its no longer producing flowers either. I was told to not water it and to lay down some compost as fertilizer for the tree but it hasn't worked.
Will it be ok?
Water or no?
Will it flower any more this year?
What should I do?

I'm afraid I am no expert on cirtrus Royiah, but I would not be too concerned.
Although frost will hit citrus trees and damage leaf, fruit and flower it is not usually fatal to the tree.
What I would suggest is that you give your plant a good boost of hign nitrogen fertiliser in the form of a liquid feed. This will get the nutrient into the plant much quicker than granuals will.
The fastest method is via the leaves themselves with something like urea sprays. However due to the very waxy surface of lemon leaves it will not penetrate through to the surface level even with the use of surfactants( wetters).
