Should I keep my strawberries inside?

I planted 21 strawberry plants yesterday and all in strawberry planters except for 4 that didn't have room, so they went in the ground.

My question is should I put planters near the window inside until it is warmer outside?

No, strawberries are extremely cold hardy and like full sun. It does depend a little on where the plants came from though. If they have been indoors or in a greenhouse, then they will need to be hardened off, get used to the outdoors gradually. If they were outside before, then just put them back outside.

Plant outside! That way the new leaves as they emerge will automatically be adapted to the prevailing conditions and you won't have to worry about hardening off.

I agree with Rainbow. Leave them outside. You could shelter them some. Put them against the house. Pile leaves or wood chips / sawdust around them. If the planters are pottery, hate to see them crack.
