Hello all,
we just purchased two cherry trees from an online nursery a mini royal and a royal lee. We are zone 9 florida and pushing the fruiting limits of these trees but decided to go ahead anyways. Does anyone know any tricks to make them fruit here when the chill requirements are not met. We achieve 300 chill hours and these are reported to be anywhere from 200-500 depending on whose site you believe. Anyprevious experience would be helpful. I've also heard these trees do not like humid climates is there any truth to this.
