Hi,
So I am gonna give blueberries a shot. Went to the nursery today and picked up several pots. I went with 5 gallon pots thinking that was adequate. I was reading that blueberry roots don't necessarily grow deep, but rather they grow wide. Is this really critical that they have a wide pot?

PR, what did you end up with 2 or 3 varieties?
I've also read that BB's have shallow wide roots. Although on another site, certain cultivar seem to do well in a 5 gallon pot.
I finally found Sunshine blue and sharp blue alittle north than I usually purchase from- still inSan Diego county by a known nursery-Weidners-though they are known for fuchsias.
Actually got a mini nectarine (bare root) and rasberries also.
