Arkansas Black Apples harvest

It's early to harvest these Arkansas Black apples -- they are supposed to "ripen" in mid-late October here, but a groundHOG got hold of one of my two biggest fruits , so rather than letting her have any more, I harvested all 10 fruits from my 5' H x 10' W Espaliered tree. 8)

I probably harvested another ten or so green~semi-ripe apples from this tree earlier which were eaten fresh or cooked into applesauce, baked apples, and pie. :D. I also made apple liquor out of the ping pong ball sized June drops.
