Turkey Fig Tree

I moved into our home here in S.C. just last summer. The Turkey Fig Tree that is growing along side out home produced tons of fruit last year. However, this year, I am not sure what to expect. The leaves had come out 2 or 3 weeks ago and I even started to notice some fruit starting. Unfortunately, we had a cold spell a week ago and a couple of nights were around freezing temperature. Now the leaves are dead. Does this mean there will be no fruit for this tree this year?
