When do I need to transplant Muscadines?

I have some Muscadine vines that were grown from seeds that I need to transplant. They are a year old. I don't know whether to plant them in the fall or spring. Any information about these plants would be very helpful and appreciated.

generally, plant in the fall. however, since you're going to have to be watering them in pots anyway, you could just pop 'em in the ground now (but remember to continue watering well).
