Strawberry deformation?

:evil: I don't know what is causing it.Deformed strawberries?I have done some reseacrh and I found something called Tarnished Plant Bugs and it says they cause deformation in the straberries..Is this what has been causing them to turn out deformed?When do they come out at night or day?And will it hurt you if you eat one that they touched?(Even if you wash the strawberries off?).Please help me.Thanks :

technically speaking, it shouldn't hurt you, even if you don't wash them off or remove the bugs.

You could have a partial pollination problem or lack of Calcium or Boron.
