Grape vine recommendation

Hi,

I live in Northern California. There is a spot in my backyard that is suitable of growing a vine. I'm thinking grape. Would you give me some recommendations? I'm looking for a moderate growing rate, not to expansive (within 4feet is ok), sweet fruits, good-looking leaves, type. Oh and it should survive the winter too.

I've seen at the local Lowes some Zinfandel, wonder if these are good candidates?
