Mango tree bark falling off

I have 2 Mango trees, 1 is a keit and the other a valencia, both are 6 years old, and produce some very nice mangos, last year the bark started getting very dry and breaking away from the tree and exposing the inner branches, tree look very bad, and not sure what to do, any help would be most appreciated
