Pruning - Raspberry

Have several raspberry planted for about 2 years now. Never had any berries on them yet. First year at fall time, trimmed them back to about 6". Last fall left them alone - right now they are about 3 feet tall - should I prune them back or just leave them?

Raspberries come in two sorts.
Traditional which crop on cane that has grown one year and crops the next
And Primo cane rasps that crop on cane that grows that year.

As yours didn't crop last year on its new cane then it must be the ' normal ' traditional cane and will crop this year on last years growth.

Once these have cropped this year you can cut the cane that fruited down to ground level and tie the new cane that grows this year onto some form of support ready for cropping next year.

Good luck.
