Re: plum trees
Well I was out looken at me trees and what do I see. Well my plums seem to think it is about time to bloom. I'm so dishearten we lost all fruit last year cuz of really cold winter then really hot summer. So I guess we will not have fruit to can. My stock pile has gone down to about 400 jars.

Yeah, it does seem like you can afford to miss another season or two!
We have that trouble with the apricot tree in the yard at my church. It almost always blooms a little too early and then all the blooms get killed by a late frost and no apricots. Every once in awhile (more often in these warmer times!) we don't have that last frost and get a huge crop of wonderful apricots.
