can someone help me identify this tree? this tree flowers but will not bear fruit. maybe I need another one for cross pollination but I do not know what to buy.

Also how old is the tree if you know and does it drop its leaves in the fall or hold on to most of them? I agree that the bark looks wrong for a persimmon. Are you sure it is a fruit tree and not an ornamental that blooms and what did the blossoms look like (color, size time of spring they came out etc.)
