Bugs with elderberry fruit, what are they?

I harvested the fruit from a couple elderberries I had planted, and am finding bugs that appear to have potentially come out of the fruit. I'm thinking they may have come because the elderberries were picked a little later than intended and were really ripe. Pictures of one:

Any clue what they are and whether the fruit is salvageable or should be tossed?

It's probably a Sawfly Lavae.
Not worth spraying....especially so near to harvest.
I would suggest just a very good rinse and shake and then enjoy any of the extra protein left.

Correction on that RF.
On reflection, Sawfly lavae as far as I know all have legs......so those are not they.
I think they are lavae of a fly though...it seems too late in the season for moth...so the same as above as far as treatment.
