Cantaloupes!

Well, technically they are earligirl muskmelons because apparently cantaloupes only grow in Italy...

I guess they are probably a slight bit over ripe because the rind is yellow, but who cares!

They were delicious with a pinch of salt! Mmmm.

I'm thinking I can expect 4-5 more by the end of the summer too!

Stop it, your killing me! I'm a half a world away and I have some huge melons waiting to ripen that I'm going to miss because I won't be home till Columbus day.

Just an update, so far we've harvested 7 melons all from the single plant. Watermelons on the way.
