peter's honey fig

I just planted a Peter's Honey Fig in my back yard....it is a bare root about 3 ft. tall....it should do well...we are in san jose ca....hope it won;t get too cold, so far its a very cold winter. Hope it can rise above other shading factors, but I bet it can. :D Just want to let you know and to share how this little guy is doing...the fruit is said to be delicious. Hi Jayney,

Your fig is hardy to zone 8. I get your hardiness zone as 9 so it should do just fine.
