Banana plant

My potted banana plant's leaves keep turning yellow, and then I cut them off. The stalk look black. I had it outside in shade this summer, but I brought it in and placed it in my sunroom. Is there any way I can save it?

Sounds like the poor thing has been overwatered (which is easier to do with potted bananas than you'd think) - try repotting into fresh soil and letting it dry out a bit. Also check the roots and corm, and cut out anything that's rotting.
