25 ft tall plum tree grew from seed in 3 years.

My mother lives in Tempe AZ she bought some plums at the grocery store. After eating the plums she decided to plant one of the seeds in the yard. In 3 years the tree grew 25 ft tall and it made 2 bushel baskets of plums the first week of June.

I made 5 gallons of plum wine. Mother made plum jelly. Now what?

I am on my way out the door to get some plums, from the grocery store!

I waited many years for my plum to produce, and it is maybe 10 feet tall!

Do you know what kind of plums they are?

All I know is the skin is Red and the inside is like the inside of a white grape. Juice from the plum is clear like white grape juice. Weather in Tempe AZ is 65-70 deg F all winter, 85-90 in the spring and fall and 110 most of the summer. One year of growing in AZ is about equal to 3 or 4 years of growing in Tennessee. There is no cold weather other than it does get cold at night but warms up nice in the day, the leaves never fall off, the plant grows year round. I think 3 years of that would be about equal to 12 to 15 years of growth in Tennessee weather.
