My wife and I planted a reliance peach tree a few years ago and this year have fruit. The fruit started quickly then seemed to turn yellowish but are puny compared to store bought.
We are in the northeast and have a reliance tree. Where should the peaches be this time of the year and when are they normally picked for the Northeast?[/img]
As for the size, did you take off a bunch and just leave a few to grow? This is my first year with my tree but I've been doing a lot of reading and heard that the first year or two you need to prune off a whole bunch of the fruits and leave just a couple per branch.
