Hello -
I just went to the Mango Festival at Fairchild Tropical Garden in Miami, FL, yesterday and was able to taste some great varieties of mangos... and even found a favorite - Kent.
Being a (sort of) new lover of mangos, I still haven't figured out how to know when they are perfectly ripe. I brought some home yesterday, but they are still pretty hard... I don't want to wait until they are too ripe, but I don't want to cut them before their time.
Is there a trick to figuring out when they are ripe enough to eat?
Will
