HI,
I planted a musk mellon(Hales best jumbo variety) 2-3 months ago in an old wading pool (well vented with slits in the plastic all over for drainage) it has since taken over my front yard and is flowering like mad. Have seen many bees around playing in the flowers and was wondering how soo I could expect fruit. Its little tag says 85 days to maturity, is that form the time it flowers till I pick or from the time it sprouts till it fruits? Any help or suggestions would be great as I have never had one do this well.
